Which plan type is right for me?
Start with Cruise + Land
One plan can cover supported ships at sea and included countries ashore. Check your exact ship and every country on your route before buying. For a Caribbean trip, look at Cruise + Americas / Caribbean. Other regional choices include Europe, Asia Pacific and the Middle East; compare Cruise + World for trips crossing regions.
This guide does not confirm eligibility for a particular sailing.
Before you connect
Your exact ship
Coverage is vessel-specific. A supported cruise line does not mean every ship in its fleet is included.
Every country you visit
Include embarkation, each port call and any stays before or after the cruise. A regional name alone is not a coverage guarantee.
Your phone and travel dates
Use an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone. Match the data allowance and validity period to the whole trip, and check when the plan starts.

A little planning. A smoother trip.
Cruise eSIM or ship Wi-Fi?
A cruise eSIM uses mobile data; the ship’s Wi-Fi is a separate service. Compare allowances, device limits and full-trip costs. Check with each provider if reliable video calls or work access are essential.
What happens near the coast?
GigSky says maritime service typically starts around 12 nautical miles offshore. Cruise Only may not connect in port. Cruise + Land can use supported local networks in included destinations.
Getting your phone ready
Use an unlocked, eSIM-compatible phone. Install using GigSky’s instructions while you have a connection. Check when validity starts: connecting at home may activate a plan if your home country is covered. When ready, choose the GigSky eSIM for mobile data and enable roaming on that eSIM. Check your home line’s roaming settings separately and download essential maps for offline use.
Include the whole journey
Imagine a seven-night Caribbean cruise with two nights in Miami beforehand. Check your ship, every island or territory, US land coverage and enough validity for the full stay.
